Location
Tara Beach is situated on one of the southernmost islands in the group of islands that make up Vanuatu, Efate. Located down Devil’s Point Road, just 20 minutes by road from downtown Port Vila and 10 minutes from the airport. Our 10 bungalows are nestled on the waterfront in what amounts to a 12 acre tropical garden, with plenty of space to relax, unwind and get in step with island time.
Accommodation
At Tara Beach we have ten lovely bungalows, all positioned along the waterfront. Each has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a lounge area, breezy front patios and all have absolute ocean views.
The best part of staying at Tara Beach? You wake up in the morning and literally look straight to the water! Each bungalow can sleep up to 6 people and you can have a choice of queen and single beds or bunks. Roomy and clean, our bungalows come with all linen supplied and have tea & coffee making facilities, bar fridge and a TV and DVD player.
Dining & Entertainment
Our open-air restaurant serves fresh seafood daily (including delicious lobster), as well as tender Santo beef. Our menu features both local as well as international dishes, and we are open from breakfast to dinner, with live music entertainment on some evenings. Enjoy a Melanesian feast night, with buffet filled with island-style dishes, such as Tuluk, Laplap.
Activities
Vanuatu is a true pacific island paradise, and a holiday here can be as fast or slow as your heart desires. Guests staying at Tara Beach are welcome to enjoy what is undoubtedly some of the best snorkelling in Efate, with colourful corals, multitudes of reef fish, and all of this literally as you step off our snorkelling jetty...
